Last updated: 20 July 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller for your personal data is Tanya Kirilova, a Business English trainer running the Business English Mojo summer school.

Contact email: hello@tanyakirilova.com

2. What data we collect and why

When you register for the summer school, we collect:

  • Name and email address — to confirm your booking, send joining instructions, and stay in touch during the course.
  • Your chosen week and time slot — to place you in the right group.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

We only collect data that is necessary to run the course and fulfil your booking.

3. Legal basis for processing

Under EU data protection law (GDPR), we process your data on the basis of:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the course you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interest — to keep you informed about the course and respond to your questions.
  • Legal obligation — to keep accounting records where required.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. The only third party that receives personal data is Stripe, which processes payments on our behalf. Stripe has its own privacy policy and security standards.

We may also share data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your name and email for one year after the course ends, mainly for accounting and customer-support purposes. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Payment records are kept in Stripe according to Stripe's policies and applicable financial regulations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@tanyakirilova.com.

7. Cookies and tracking

This page does not use marketing cookies or third-party trackers. Stripe may set cookies or tokens needed to process payment securely.

8. Data security

We store registration data in a secure database with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to what is needed to run the course.

9. Complaints

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your EU country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our services or legal obligations change. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
